Interesting websites and games I've found. Maybe you'll find them interesting as well:
- Slynyrd.com. Useful for pixel art tutorials and tips. I also just like this guy's beautiful art.
- Geologic time scale (Wikipedia). The ultimate reference for anything relating to the concept of deep time - thanks PBS Eons for getting me hooked!
- FungiAtlas.com. My go-to reference for weird-looking mushrooms used in my game, Resprout. Mushrooms are weird.
- Neal.fun. The guy who made The Password Game also makes a lot of visualizations and all sorts of goodies. Infinite Craft is a favorite of mine, reminds me of that old Orteil nested Universe game thingy. Speaking of which...
- Orteil.dashnet.org. The guy who made Cookie Clicker. Need I say more?
- Permacomputing.net. A bit fringe, but working in a hardware-adjacent industry and reading about EUV lithography machines has made me contemplate the somewhat brittle (?) foundations of technological society. Interesting read into how we might restart computing if all that comes tumbling down.
